Meho Puzić, born on July 24, 1937, in Odžak, was one of the most famous Bosnian sevdalinka interpreters.
He also had two brothers, Adem and Bahrija. Bahrija was also a singer, and together they recorded two songs: One of them was called “Pjevaj brate”.
His first album was recorded in 1966, with 4 songs of which the song name “Mehmeda Majka Budila” becomes a real hit.
In 1969 Toma Zdravković wrote a song for him entitled “Majko, Majko” (Mother, Mother). Puzić sang the song in duet with his wife Hanka.
He has released 8 studio albums and 4 compilation albums and a series of singles.
He died on June 25, 2007, and was buried in the old graveyard (Sokak Puzića) in Odžak.
